Happy New Year. Every credit just reset.

Calendar year benefits are fresh. H1 semi-annual credits are loaded. Q1 quarterly credits are live. Monthly credits started over. If you carry premium cards, you're sitting on thousands of dollars in credits right now.

Here's the full picture.

Calendar Year Credits: Use by December 31

These are your biggest credits and you have all year. But some require planning (hotel bookings, subscriptions), so start now.

Amex Platinum

  • $300 Equinox: monthly membership credit. If you're a member, this runs itself. If not, $300 off a new membership is worth considering
  • $209 Clear Plus: covers a full annual membership. Enroll or renew at CLEARme.com
  • $200 Airline Fee Credit: select one airline in your Amex account. Covers incidental fees (seat upgrades, bag fees, lounge passes). Pick early
  • $200 Oura Ring: hardware purchase credit. If you've been eyeing one, this covers most of the cost
  • $120 Uber One: covers the annual Uber One membership ($9.99/month). Activate in the Uber app

Chase Sapphire Reserve

  • $500 The Edit Hotel: two $250 credits, usable anytime. Prepaid bookings at Edit hotels through Chase Travel. Two-night minimum per booking
  • $359 Whoop: annual membership credit via Chase Offers. Activate early
  • $250 Chase Travel Hotels (2026 bonus): one-time credit for stays at IHG, Montage, Pendry, Omni, Virgin Hotels, Minor Hotels, Pan Pacific. Two-night minimum

Calendar year total: $1,109

Citi Strata Elite

  • $300 Hotel Credit: prepaid bookings through Citi Travel
  • $200 Splurge Credit: one purchase of $500+ at a qualifying merchant

Other Calendar Year Credits

H1 Semi-Annual Credits: Use by June 30

These expire mid-year. The hotel credits need advance booking.

Amex Gold

  • $100 Resy Dining: same as Platinum. Book on Resy, pay with Gold

Amex Business Platinum

  • $90 Indeed: job posting credits
  • $50 Hilton: statement credit on Hilton stays

Hilton Cards

Delta Resy Credits

  • $100 Resy: Delta Reserve and Delta Reserve Business
  • $100 Resy: Delta Platinum and Delta Platinum Business

Monthly Credits: Use by January 31

These reset on the 1st. Anything unused is gone.

Amex Platinum

  • $25 Digital Entertainment: Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max, Peacock, NYT, YouTube Premium
  • $15 Uber Cash: loads to your Uber account
  • $13.95 Walmart+: monthly membership fee

  • $15 Uber Cash: Uber rides or Uber Eats
  • $10 Restaurant Partners: Grubhub, Cheesecake Factory, Goldbelly, Wine.com, Five Guys

Other Monthly Credits

January Game Plan

Week 1 (Jan 1–7): Set up recurring credits. Enroll in Uber One ($120/year, autopays monthly). Activate Whoop via Chase Offers. Renew or enroll in Clear Plus. Set your Amex airline for the year. Subscribe to Apple Music/TV+ through CSR if you haven't.

Week 2–3: Book a Q1 Resy dinner. The quarterly credit is $100–$175 depending on cards. One nice dinner handles most of it.

Week 4 (by Jan 31): Use monthly credits. Uber Cash, DoorDash, Dunkin'. If your subscriptions are set up, most of these are automatic.

This month: Start thinking about hotel bookings. You have $300 in Amex FHR credit and $500+ in Chase Edit credit. Spring and summer availability fills up.

Quick Checklist

Set up once (covers the year):

  • Amex: select airline for fee credit, enroll in Clear Plus, activate Uber One
  • Chase: activate Whoop offer, subscribe to Apple Music/TV+
  • All: make sure subscriptions (Walmart+, DashPass, Peloton) are linked

By January 31 (monthly):
