Chase Sapphire Reserve DoorDash Credit Just Tripled
Chase Sapphire Reserve DoorDash Credit Just Tripled
Chase just bumped the Sapphire Reserve's monthly DoorDash restaurant credit from $5 to $15. It also works on any eligible DoorDash order now, not just restaurants. The change takes effect October 1, 2026.
The two $10 grocery and retail promos stay the same. Combined, that's $35 per month in DoorDash credits, or $420 per year.
What changed
| Before (Sep 2026) | After (Oct 1, 2026) | |
|---|---|---|
| Restaurant credit | $5/mo | $15/mo |
| Grocery + retail promos | $20/mo (2 x $10) | $20/mo (2 x $10) |
| Eligible orders | Restaurant only | Any DoorDash order |
| Monthly total | $25 | $35 |
| Annual total | $300 | $420 |
What this does to the CSR's value
The Chase Sapphire Reserve now has roughly $3,071 in annual credits against a $795 fee. The DoorDash increase alone adds $120/year to the card's net value.
DoorDash is one of the easiest credits to use on the card. If you order food delivery even once a month, this credit pays for itself with no effort.
What you need to do
If you already have DashPass activated on your CSR, nothing. The new $15 credit replaces the $5 one automatically starting October 1.
If you haven't activated DashPass yet:
- Open the DoorDash app
- Go to your account settings
- Link your Chase Sapphire Reserve card
- Activate DashPass (the $9.99/mo fee is covered by a separate CSR credit)
Once DashPass is active, the monthly credits load automatically.
The fine print
- Credits don't roll over. Use them each month or they're gone.
- You need DashPass active to receive the credits.
- The DashPass benefit and DoorDash credits are available through 12/31/2027.
- The $15 credit now works on any eligible order, including restaurants, groceries, and retail.
