Chase Sapphire Reserve Benefits Guide 2026: Every Credit Explained
The Chase Sapphire Reserve has a $550 annual fee. It also has nearly $3,000 in annual credits — if you know where to find them all.
Chase restructured the Reserve's benefits heavily in 2025–2026. The old $300 travel credit and Priority Pass are still there, but now there are semi-annual dining credits, hotel credits, streaming subscriptions, and lifestyle perks that most cardholders haven't fully explored.
Here's every benefit, what it actually covers, and how to use each one.
The Full Picture
| Benefit | Value | Resets |
|---|---|---|
| Whoop Membership | $359 | Calendar year |
| Travel Credit | $300 | Cardmember year |
| The Edit Hotel Credit | $500 | Semi-annual ($250 × 2) |
| Chase Travel 2026 Hotels | $250 | Calendar year (2026 only) |
| Exclusive Tables Dining | $300 | Semi-annual ($150 × 2) |
| StubHub Credit | $300 | Semi-annual ($150 × 2) |

| Global Entry/TSA Pre | $120 | Every 4 years |
Total annual value: ~$2,941 (on a $550 fee)
That's a 5.3x return — if you use everything. Here's how.
Semi-Annual Credits (Use by June 30 / December 31)
These are the big-ticket items. They load twice per year and expire at the half-year mark.
The Edit Hotel Credit — $250 per half ($500/year)
Book a prepaid hotel stay through Chase Travel's Edit collection. Two-night minimum required.
The Edit is Chase's curated hotel program — think boutique and luxury properties. The credit applies automatically when you book through Chase Travel and pay with your Reserve.
How to use it:
- Go to Chase Travel (in the Chase app or chase.com/travel)
- Search for hotels and filter for "The Edit" properties
- Book a prepaid stay of 2+ nights with your Reserve
- The credit posts as a statement credit
Pro tips:
- Book early for fall/holiday weekends — Edit properties are popular
- Combine with Ultimate Rewards points for a nearly-free luxury stay
- The credit doesn't roll over, so use each half separately
Exclusive Tables Dining Credit — $150 per half ($300/year)
Statement credit for dining at Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables restaurants — over 300 partner restaurants across 40+ cities.
This is one of the best credits on any card, because you'd eat out anyway. Book a table, pay with your Reserve, done.
Browse all Exclusive Tables restaurants on the map →
How to use it:
- Find a restaurant on the Exclusive Tables map
- Make a reservation through OpenTable (linked from each restaurant)
- Pay with your Chase Sapphire Reserve
- Credit posts within a few days
Pro tips:
- The credit covers the full bill — food, drinks, tax, tip
- No minimum spend required
- You can split it across multiple restaurant visits within the half
StubHub Credit — $150 per half ($300/year)
Statement credit for purchases on StubHub and viagogo. Concerts, sports, theater, comedy — any live event.
How to use it:
- Find an event on StubHub.com
- Pay with your Chase Sapphire Reserve
- Credit posts automatically
Available through 12/31/2027. This one is pure entertainment — use it for NFL games, concert season, or holiday shows.
Monthly Credits (Use Each Month)
These reset on the 1st. They're smaller individually but add up to over $900/year combined.
DoorDash Credit — $25/month ($300/year)
DashPass members get up to $25 each month on DoorDash. Breaks down as:
- $5 monthly promo for restaurant orders
- Two $10 promos for grocery, retail, and convenience orders
Must be a DashPass member (which is also free — see below). Available through 12/31/2027.
DashPass Membership — $9.99/month ($120/year)
Free DashPass membership — $0 delivery fees, reduced service fees, and member-only pricing on DoorDash and Caviar.
This one's automatic once activated. It's the gateway to the $25 DoorDash credit above.
Apple Music — $10.99/month ($132/year)
Complimentary Apple Music individual subscription through June 2027. If you already pay for Apple Music, activating this suspends your paid subscription and replaces it.
Apple TV+ — $9.99/month ($120/year)
Complimentary Apple TV+ through June 2027. Same deal — activate it, and your paid subscription pauses.
Lyft Credit — $10/month ($120/year)
$10 in monthly Lyft credits, up to $120/year. Credits appear in the Lyft app. Available through 9/30/2027.
Peloton Credit — $10/month ($120/year)
$10 statement credit on Peloton memberships (app or all-access) through 12/31/2027. Plus 10x points on Peloton equipment over $150.
Annual / One-Time Credits
Travel Credit — $300/year
Up to $300 in statement credits for travel purchases each cardmember anniversary year (not calendar year). This is the original Reserve perk — it covers airlines, hotels, car rentals, trains, tolls, parking, and more.
It's broad. Almost anything travel-coded triggers it.
Note: Purchases that trigger the travel credit don't earn points. It's a credit, not a bonus.
Whoop Membership — $359/year
$359 statement credit toward a WHOOP Life Membership Annual Plan. Must activate through Chase Offers before purchasing.
WHOOP is a fitness/health tracker. If you already use one, this essentially makes it free. If not, it's a $359 device and subscription you can try at no cost.
Chase Travel 2026 Hotel Brands — $250 (2026 only)
Up to $250 for prepaid hotel bookings through Chase Travel at specific partner brands:
- IHG Hotels & Resorts
- Montage Hotels & Resorts
- Pendry Hotels & Resorts
- Omni Hotels & Resorts
- Virgin Hotels
- Minor Hotels
- Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts
Two-night minimum. This is separate from The Edit credit — you can use both. Limited to calendar year 2026.
Global Entry / TSA PreCheck — $120 every 4 years
Covers the application fee for Global Entry ($120) or TSA PreCheck ($85). Triggers automatically when you pay with your Reserve.

How to Stack Everything
Here's the optimal setup for a CSR holder who wants to use every credit:
Set and forget (monthly):
- Activate DashPass → unlocks $25 DoorDash + $10 DashPass credits
- Subscribe to Apple Music and Apple TV+ with your Reserve
- Take one Lyft ride per month ($10)
- Keep Peloton membership on your Reserve ($10)
That's $76/month or $912/year running on autopilot.
Quarterly actions:
- Eat at an Exclusive Tables restaurant at least once per half ($150)
- Buy tickets to one event on StubHub per half ($150)
- Book a 2-night hotel through The Edit per half ($250)
That covers $1,100/year in semi-annual credits.
Annual:
- Travel $300+ on your Reserve (automatic for most travelers)
- Apply for Global Entry if due for renewal
Total recovered: ~$2,500+ on a $550 fee.
CSR vs. Amex Platinum
The two cards serve different niches now:
| CSR ($550/yr) | Amex Platinum ($695/yr) | |
|---|---|---|
| Dining | $300 Exclusive Tables + $300 DoorDash | $400 Resy |
| Hotels | $500 The Edit + $250 partner brands | $600 FHR/Hotel Collection |
| Streaming | Apple Music + Apple TV+ | Disney+/Hulu/HBO Max |
| Entertainment | $300 StubHub | — |
| Fitness | $120 Peloton + $359 Whoop | $300 Equinox |
| Rideshare | $120 Lyft | $180 Uber |
| Shopping | — | $300 Lululemon + $100 Saks |
| Lounges | Sapphire + Priority Pass | Centurion + Priority Pass |
The CSR leans dining + entertainment. The Platinum leans hotels + lifestyle. Many people hold both.

Common Questions
Is the CSR worth the $550 fee? If you use the monthly credits ($912/year) and at least some semi-annual credits, yes — easily. Even using just DoorDash + Apple + one dining credit per half puts you ahead. Detailed breakdown →
What's the difference between The Edit and the 2026 Hotel Brands credit? The Edit is a permanent semi-annual credit ($250/half) at Chase's curated luxury properties. The 2026 Hotel Brands credit is a one-time $250 for stays at IHG, Montage, Omni, etc. — calendar year 2026 only. You can use both.
Do travel credit purchases earn points? No. Purchases that trigger the $300 travel credit don't earn Ultimate Rewards points.
Can I downgrade to Sapphire Preferred? Yes. The Preferred ($95/year) keeps DoorDash ($25/month) and DashPass but drops the semi-annual credits, lounge access, and most other perks.
Does Priority Pass include restaurants? No. Chase removed restaurant access from Priority Pass in July 2024. The membership covers lounges only.
